THE PROCESS
Delivering the highest quality care through a proven system
INSTRUMENTATION
The neurologically-based chiropractor aims to do the least to achieve the most. Rather than "manipulating" every joint in your spine to increase range of motion, our goal is to find the exact level of nerve interference and "adjust" it very gently and specifically. The heat instrument shows the doctor where there may be irritation to a spinal nerve.
VISUALIZATION
The doctor also looks for clues like redness, swelling, skin lesions, tissue changes, or postural compensation to build the case for the primary cause of the patient's health concern.
STATIC & MOTION
PALPATION
Chiropractic literally means "with the hands." A Doctor of Chiropractic is trained to detect tissue changes like edema, swelling, abnormalities of the musculature surrounding the spine, which are all evidence of subluxation.
Continuing the work with his hands, the chiropractor uses passive and active motioning of the spinal and pelvic joints to detect abnormalities and continue to build a case for the primary cause of the patient's problem.

Spinal Images
A complete understanding of normal human anatomy and biomechanics under gravity are essential for the doctor to recognize any potential abnormalities in the patient. Pelvic rotation and unleveling can be easily visualized and measured on full spine x-ray views. The lateral view assists the doctor in determining the health of the discs and the spine, continuing to build a case for the primary cause of the patient's health concern.
